Sling TV finally gives the Chromecast Support to thier users. Sling TV is a subsidiary of Dish Network, but the streaming service is going after millennial cord-cutters and cord-nevers with an “over the top,” or Internet-based, alternative to cable. The service costs $20 per month and includes live content and some on-demand programming from around 20 channels such as ESPN, Lifetime, TNT and CNN.

Sling TV fans have made it clear since the beginning that Chromecast is a must-have device, and we agree,”
said Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV.

“With Chromecast, Sling TV customers now have the ability to move their entertainment experience from their mobile device to the big screen seamlessly.”

Google, meanwhile, said recently that it has sold more than 20 million Chromecast devices and that users have pressed the cast button more than 1.5 billion times in the two-plus years that Chromecast has been on the market. Sling TV is going after these Chromecast owners with a free, two-month trial of its service. Alternatively, the company is giving away free Chromecast devices to new customers who prepay for three months of service.
