Firefox has given the chromecast support to the Firefox nightly build. Mozilla engineer Lucas Rocha took to Google+ to share the news, showing off a video casting test page with a few embedded videos ready for your casting pleasure.
Of course, the big catch for now is that cast support is currently confined to the development builds of the browser and not included in the versions on the Play Store.
If you have a Chromecast lying about and an Android device you don’t mind side-loading an APK on, using the nightly build will give an advance hands-on with the feature ahead of the rest of the world.
To get everything up and running on your end, just head over to the Firefox nightly page and download the APK. After that, this video casting test page makes for an easy place to verify if everything is working. If the Chromecast icon appears and your device shows up in the Cast to Device pop up, you know you’re good to go.

Firfox Nightly for android earlier at the time of the article is written casting from firefox is possible with this app. But now you can download the firefox stable version on the android and you will be able to cast your content on TV. If you don't know how follow the below steps.
1.Make sure that your Chromecast is on the same WiFi network as your Android device.
2.Launch Firefox on your Android device, then go to a website with a video format supported by Chromecast. If you have Adobe Flash Player enabled on your device, disable or uninstall it through your Android settings menu to prevent it from overriding the supported formats.
3.Tap on a video to start playing it.
4.Tap on the Send to icon send to icon video that appears either on the address bar or on the video player (after any ads have stopped playing):
5.Choose Chromecast on the Send to Device menu.
6.The video will start playing on your TV after a brief load time.
You'll be able to pause or stop the video directly from your Android device using the controls at the bottom of the screen:
Your video controls will stay at the bottom of the screen while the video is playing, even if you decide to browse other sites.
