Amazon’s new Dual Audio feature answers a long-standing request from users seeking better accessibility options. With this update, individuals using compatible hearing aids can stream high-quality audio directly to their devices while others continue to enjoy sound through the TV’s built-in speakers. This ensures that everyone—regardless of hearing ability—can enjoy TV shows and movies together without compromising audio quality.

Enabling dual audio is simple. From the Fire TV home screen, go to Settings > Accessibility and pair your hearing aid. For quicker access, press and hold the Home button to open Quick Settings, then navigate to Hearing Aid > Output Mode > Dual Audio. If your hearing aid is already paired, you can activate the feature with just a few taps through Quick Settings.
