Google Pixel Watch render spotted online, confirms previous leaks

The Google Pixel Watch is in rumors for a long time but nothing has been confirmed yet. Tech enthusiasts around the globe are waiting for Google Pixel Watch for so long now. However, even after waiting for so long, nothing much about the device has come out yet. According to the rumors, Google may announce the new Pixel Watch at this year’s Google I/O.

There was no official render available for the device until now. But now, the first official render has been leaked by folks at 91Mobiles which looks familiar to the earlier leaks. YouTuber John Prosser from FRONT PAGE TECH was the first person to share the renders of the Google Pixel Watch. Those renders match up with the latest leak by 91Mobiles. So, now we know that the new Pixel Watch will come with a crown on the right side and a curved display. The source shared only one image, which shows a Fitbit logo, a step counter, and a heart rate monitor.

Recently Evan Blass also confirmed via a leak that Pixel Watch might launch soon and we can hear an announcement regarding the same at this year’s Google I/O 2022. There are other changes in recent time that also hints toward the launch of the Pixel Watch. A couple of days ago, Google changed its naming scheme for sections on the Google Store to Watches from Fitbit. Another piece of information that came from the Wear OS 3.0 emulator is that the watch may have both the next generation Google Assistant and an Exynos chipset.

This would be the first time Google would launch a smartwatch of its own. Google is well known for its wearable operating system platform Wear OS. Which was used by other smartwatch brands until now and this would be the first time Google is going to use it on a Google-branded watch. From all the rumors till now it is confirmed that we might see the new Google Pixel Watch soon enough.
