Acer quietly unveiled the 5 new Chromebook Plus models and a Chromebook tablet. Acer already announced the Chromebook Tab 311 in BETT 2025, formerly known as the British Educational Training and Technology Show. Chromebooks are popular among students because of their affordability and ultralight Chrome OS compared to laptops.
Earlier there was a buzz about Acer’s new Chromebooks all around the web. The name of the Chromebooks are listed below.
- Acer Chromebook Plus 514, powered by Intel Core 3 N355 processor, with a 14” WUXGA display and FHD webcam.
- Acer Chromebook Plus 516, powered by up to Intel Core 7 processor with a 16” WUXGA display, Google AI built in and a FHD webcam.
- Acer Chromebook Plus 514 is powered by up to Intel Core 7 processor with a 14” WUXGA display, QHD webcam and with up to 17 hours battery life.
- Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 516 is powered by up to Intel Core 7 processor with a 16” WUXGA display and QHD webcam.
- Acer Chromebook Plus Enterprise 514 is powered by up to Intel Core 7 processor with a 14” WUXGA display, and a QHD webcam.
- Acer Chromebook Tab 311: MediaTek Kompanio 520, 8GB RAM, 128GB of storage and a 10.95-inch WUXGA IPS display
The new Acer Chromebooks will be available in May 2025. The company hasn’t disclosed the full specifications of these Chromebooks yet.
