Android 5.1.1 update for sprint LG Nexus 5 with improved Chromecast Support

Users of Spirnt LG nexus 5 starts getting the latest version of Android 5.1.1 over the OTA and with this update also  resolves the Chromecast remote pass through issue.

According to an Android Police report, users of Sprint-driven Nexus 5 smartphones can check for Android 5.1.1 firmware upgrade bearing build number LMY48B.

The report that quotes Sprint, claims that the Android 5.1.1 update would start seeding to the carrier’s Nexus 5 devices from 13 May, via OTA mechanism. Do let us know if you have received the update in our comments section below.

Android 5.1.1 enhances existing features and fixes numerous bugs inherent in the previous version of the OS update. Notable fixes include rectifying the camera timeout issue on Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 handsets.
