Google Launches free version of Play Music

As Apple is launching its Apple music platform on 30th June, Google now has launches its Play Music free Version to have more and more users. It is designed as every moment of your day.

Play Music is Google’s music streaming service, meant to compete with the likes of Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, etc. However, unlike the paid version, the free version launched today won’t let users choose their own songs to play on-demand. Instead users will have the option to choose from pre-curated playlists, similar to Pandora or iTunes Radio.


Play Music free version is clearly a boon for users, Google claims this is a good thing for artists as well because it will give them “another way to earn revenue. The Ads will be shown in the app as the YouTube videos, the ads will be shows in the same technique as they show ads on YouTube.
