The latest NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV update 1.2 brings the 4K Support to the Photos and videos app and many more features like the Company supports the better streaming with this update.

The update also promises to optimize streaming for Netflix and Google Play Movies, while improving the way the machine handles SD cards. NVIDIA’s SHIELD Remote should work better too, and you’ll even get notifications when its battery starts to die. Finally, the company promises improvements to its GameStream service, which allows you to stream NVIDIA’s library of PC games right to your home TV.

Moreover, Several new Android TV apps have appeared over the past week, including Fox Sports GO, EPIX, CBS News, and CBS Sports. The following apps will be coming to Android TV devices soon, according to Google: HBO Now, HBO Go, Fox News, Fox Now, FX Now, Qello, Twitch, UFC, USA Today, Vimeo, Vudu, and WWE – worldwide wrestling entertainment.
