Samsung’s Flagship device Note 4 now gets the Chromecast screen Mirroring support but due to TouchWiz you have to set it manually.

Steps to Mirror you device on the Big Screen is as follows:-

  1. Open the navigation drawer.
  2. Select “Cast Screen
  3. Tap the “Cast Screen” button
  4. If the button is missing or you get a warning about your device not being compatible, a restart should do the trick.

Earlier few weeks ago Sony’s Xperia Z3v, Z2 and Z2 Tablet were also added to the list of supported devices for Chromecast screen mirroring.  you can also read our article to read more Xperia z3 and Z3 compact Gets Chromecast Screen Casting Support.

There are over twenty devices that now support screen casting, including most Nexus devices from the Nexus 10 and later, several Galaxy flagship devices from the S4 and later, the HTC One M7 (but not the HTC One M8), the LG G2, G Pro 2 and G3, the Sony Z2 and Z3 range. Unusually, none of the Moto devices are supported, so as at now if you have the Moto G or Moto X from 2013 or 2014, you’re out of luck. However, we know that Google are adding more devices all of the time so hopefully these devices are in the “coming soon” bracket.
