Google has announced Yesterday the Stable channel has been updated to 40.0.2214.93 (Platform version:6457.83.0). In next few weeks it will be available to all the Chrome Os users. Update is bringing along a few bug fixes, security updates, and feature enhancements.
The highlights of this update, as shared by Google in the official announcement, include the synchronization of your custom wallpapers across connected hardware. Not only that, but the default wallpaper has been refreshed to fit in with the Material Design. Lastly, the new emoji palette allows for more convenient access.

"! Chrome OS Missing Or Damaged" is the result of that update in my HP Chromebook 14. Anyone else with the same problem? In addition, the recovery image download process interrupts at the end saying "download interrupted, try again"
