As spotted on the FCC listing a while ago, Walmart’s new Onn Google TV Full HD Streaming Stick debuts. The affordable streaming stick is available for a mere $15 at the Walmart store. The pricing is equivalent to a McDonald’s Big Mac meal or a salad at Chipotle’s.

Onn is offering plenty of competing specifications inside the Streaming Stick. The Onn Google TV Full HD Streaming Stick comes with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB storage, micro-USB connectivity, and offers 1080p entertainment. Other internal details about the device are not official, but FCC citations confirm the presence of the Amlogic S805X2 chipset. Surprisingly, it is the same chipset that powers the Chromecast with Google TV.
The users can binge on their favorite Netflix, YouTube TV, or ESPN Channel by just plugging in the HDMI cable and a Micro USB Power Adapter. The remote design resembles the Onn Google TV 4K Streaming Box. Interestingly, the remote has four dedicated buttons for Disney Plus, Netflix, Paramount Plus, and YouTube.
The Onn Google TV 4K Streaming Box ships with 2GB of RAM, and the rest is quite similar. In comparison with the Chromecast with Google TV Stick, the size of the remote is surely quite large, and it runs the same SoC.
However, it is always advisable to go for the 4K streaming stick if you have a compatible TV. Otherwise, you could save $5 by choosing the new Onn Google TV HD Streaming Stick.
