Pixel Watch 2 stops by FCC, confirms the LTE model and Four Different Straps

Following the watch faces leak of Pixel Watch 2, the smartwatch appears to have landed on the FCC. Three different models are listed on FCC namely G4TSL, GC3G8, and GD2WG.  Among the three models, the GC3G8 and GD2WG are LTE-enabled variants, meanwhile, the G4TSL is Bluetooth/WiFi-enabled variant. Pixel Watch 2 appears to have four different straps – Plastic Active Strap, Metal mesh strap, Metal Link Strap, and Metal slim strap.

Further, the listing reveals the presence of the G1000 18W PD adapter. However, we are not sure whether Google will bundle the adapter, but the same is used while testing SAR value. Apart from these specifics, FCC failed to shed more information about the device specifications. But, it do confirm the imminent launch.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Specifications Leaked

Recently, the Pixel Watch 2 specs were fully detailed by Android Authority. As per the leak, the Pixel Watch 2 is rumored to feature a 1.2-inch 284 x284 round OLED display manufactured by Samsung Display. There will be an improved 306 mAh battery.

It is expected to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC which will bundle Arm Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7GHz with Adreno 702 GPU.

There will be UWB support which will pave the way for better positioning. It will come with WearOS 4 based on Android 13. The boot animation also appeared on the internet with visually engaging colors and shapes.

Among three models, two are LTE-enabled models, while the remaining G4TSL is Bluetooth/WiFi-only variant. We expect Pixel Watch 2 to launch in India as the e-label hint confirms BIS certification. The smartwatch appears to be impressive and will launch in more countries than the maiden Pixel watch model.
