Google today launched its latest streaming device called “Google TV Streamer”. Now, the company officially replaces the Chromecast with Google TV with the new and more powerful Google TV Streamer 4K as we reported earlier. The search engine gaint says it will boost the smart home devices experience, Google TV Streamer will act as a smart home hub.
Google TV Streamer will have access to 700,000+ movies and shows through various streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, YouTube, etc. Moreover, the new streaming device will offer 800+ free live TV channels, same as Chromecast do.

The Google TV Streamer 4K is powered by Gemini AI to help users with content suggestions on the home screen from various apps to which you have subscribed. Moreover, with this new device you will get full summaries, reviews, and season-by-season breakdowns with the help of Gemini Tech.
Find My Remote button Feature, It will be very useful for people as the previously remote of Chromecast is a little small and sometimes its a task to find it. Google make it easy for you, There is a button next to the USB-C port on the back, just press it and a sound will play on the remote, and you can easily find it. Moreover, you can find the remote by using voice command “Hey Google, find my remote” from other assistant devices.
As its name suggests, Google TV Streamer 4K supports streaming up to 4K HDR at 60 FPS. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG video formats, and Dolby Audio. The Google TV streamer is powered with 22% faster processor then its predecessor, although the company has not disclosed the name of the SoC yet. It pairs with 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

In connectivity options, the new streaming devices include a USB Type-C port, an HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band WiFi.
Price and availability
The Google TV Streamer is available in two color options, which are Hazel (grey) and Porcelain (white). The device is available on pre-order for $99.99 in the US through the Google Store, Amazon, and BestBuy.
