The wait is finally over as Apple TV has finally debuted on a second third-party device i.e Chromecast with Google TV after launching on Sony TVs last year. It took just a few months for the Apple team to debut the Apple TV app on the latest Chromecast. The users can now download the app from the Play Store and can start enjoying it on a $50 device.
Apart from being wild competitors, Apple and Google always bend down for the users’ interest. There are several examples showing the companies working edge-to-edge for customer’s and self-benefit by inching closer and making available on each other’s ecosystem.
Made By Google official handle tweeted about the announcement by sharing a snippet from the Apple TV’s popular show ‘All for Mankind’. The users can enjoy popular Apple Originals like “Ted Lasso”, “The Morning Show”, “Palmer”, “Greyhound” and others. The app will provide you the full access to the Apple TV library.
The app is now available on the Play Store and measures 19MB in size. It app brings a dedicated kids section, easy search, Watch Now, and several other features.
We hope the Apple TV app will fully utilize the Chromecast with Google TV support for 4K HDR at 60 frames per second. Moreover, it would be interesting to see the blend of Google Assistant over the top of the Apple TV+ app.
