Chromecast with Google TV (HD) launch is very near as every day we get one or two updates on the design, specs, and price. In recent reveal the Chromecast with Google TV (HD) will be priced at $40, and we assume it might be $39.99. Although it is $10 expensive then the recent report in which European price is leaked.

According to the SnoopyTech on Twitter the Chromecast with Google TV (HD) is already in stock at many American retailers. Moreover, in recent leaks the photos of new Chromecast (HD) appears on online. In photos Chromecast with Google TV(HD) looks exactly the same as the previous variant that launched 2 years back.

The Launch date of the new Chromecast is not officially announced. But we think Google will launch Chromecast with Google TV (HD) on October 6th, 2022.  along with Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

According to all the information revealed Chromecast with Google TV (HD) is powered by a Amlogic S805X2 SoC with support for AV1 decoding and 1.5 GB RAM. It will stream the content up to 1080p with 60Hz refresh rate. The new Chromecast with Google TV (HD) will run on Google TV based on Android 12.
