Google Launched Pixel 4A with Snapdragon 730G and 5.8 inch OLED display for $349

Google finally launched its mid-range Pixel 4A with Snapdragon 730G in the US. Moreover, Google announces that its first 5G enabled Google Phones i.e. Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will launch later this year. Google Pixel 4a will be available in the US from August 20 onwards and other countries will also get it soon.

Pixel 4a Specifications

Pixel 4a features a 5.81-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution i.e. 2340 x 1080 pixels. The phone has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and supports a 60Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the display is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Pixel 4a is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC with Adreno 618 GPU and pairs a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

It is packed with a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 image sensor having Dual pixel phase detection, OIS, and EIS support. On the front side, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras support Night Sight, Portrait Mode, Dual Exposure controls, Top Shot, etc. However, Astrophotography mode is limited to rear camera on Pixel 4a.

Pixel 4a has a 3140 mAh battery that can last up to 24 hours of mixed usage(Always-on display off). The phone comes with the support of 18W fast charging via a USB-C port. In connectivity options Pixel 4a includes 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and fingerprint scanner on the rear side.

However, we were expecting a new Chromecast or Sabrina today; launch event, but there was no mention of it. Now, we expect the next generation Google streaming device launch in October along with Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a. Xiaomi recently launched Mi TV Stick to compete against the other streaming hardware that are already present in the market.
