How to cancel CBS All Access subscriptions

CBS All Access is an American video streaming service. It offers original and newly aired content from both CBS’s broadcast properties and from the ViacomCBS library. The service has roughly around 17 million subscribers. CBS All Access is owned and operated by CBS Interactive.

Being SaaS, the CBS All Access subscription costs you around 5.99$ – 9.99$/month or 59.99$ – 99.99$/year depending on what you opt for. If you’re a paid user of the service and you wish to cancel the subscription, then you’re in the right place. There are two different ways to cancel your CBS All Access subscription and, it depends on how you chose to pay for the subscription in the first place. If you chose to pay them directly, you have to go to their website and, if you chose to pay through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, then you can cancel it from there.

Cancel CBS through the Website

Follow these steps to cancel the subscription if you CBS directly.

  1. Login to the CBS website and click on your name at the top-right corner.
  2. Select Account from the drop-down menu and look for the Subscription & Billing
    section.
  3. While in Subscription & Billing, you’ll find a tab called Subscription and, at the
    right end of that tab, you’ll see an option called Cancel Subscription. When you
    click on it, you’ll be given a warning.
  4. Check the on-screen box and click on YES, CANCEL.
  5. CBS will now ask you the reason why you’re canceling the subscription, selecting
    any one of them, and hitting COMPLETE CANCELLATION.
  6. Your CBS All Access subscription will now be canceled. You can always head
    back to them to reactivate the subscription.

Cancel CBS All Access using Google Play Store

If you paid for the subscription through the Google Play Store, then please follow these
steps.

  1. Open Google Play Store and bring up the side menu by tapping on the icon on
    the top-left corner.
  2. Click on Subscriptions to view the services you’re subscribed to.
  3. Find CBS from your subscriptions and click on it.
  4. A new window will open up with your subscription details.
  5. Click on Cancel Subscription at the bottom.
  6. Choose a reason and click Continue.
  7. A confirmation window will pop up, click on CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.

Cancel using Apple App Store

If you paid for the subscription through the Apple App Store, then please follow these
steps.

  1. Open the Apple App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Now tap on your Avatar at the top-right corner and click on Subscriptions.
  3. Find CBS from your subscriptions and click on it.
  4. A new window will open up with your subscription details.
  5. Click on Cancel Subscription to cancel your subscription. This needs to be done if
    you’re using the trial since CBS will charge you once the free trial is over.
  6. A confirmation window will pop up. Click Confirm to cancel your subscription.
    Whenever you cancel your CBS All Access, CBS will bill you for that month or year,
    depending on the subscription. But you’ll be able to use the service until the end of the
    month or year.
