Google Chomecast is a very good device from Google it lets you to cast your online videos from your mobiles, tablets and PCs to the large screen TV’s. But the device has not been launched in India yet, though a few e-commerce sites are selling it as an unofficial import at a premium, and the delivery period is quite annoying.

Teewe-Dongle

In such a scenario, MangoMan Consumer Electronics, a Bangalore-based company, has launched a similar device called Teewe. The company claims that Teewe offers similar features as the Chromecast, with additional functions which are more suitable to the Indian audience.

Teewe is currently listed exclusively on Snapdeal for a competitive price of Rs. 1999/- and will start shipping as early as 6th September. As far as the Teewe hardware goes, it runs on dual core ARM cortex A9 processor and has 1 GB of dedicated RAM. It works with any TV that has a HDMI Port and needs Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connection to stream multimedia content.
