Since late last year, there are some leaks and rumors about the Google’s new streaming device. Till now Google’s only streaming device is Chromecast. But now, according to reports, the company is working on a streaming device with all new design, and it will be called “Google TV Streamer.”
According to the photos published on 9to5google, the company has dictched the compact dongle design. Now Google has developed a streaming device in table-top design in pill shape. In photos device looks bigger than many streaming boxes available in the market right now. It was also said in report that the bigger size of new streamer device will be good for Ultra Wideband-powered Tap to cast which was announced for the Pixel Tablet.
In the photo there are two wires attached to the Google TV streamer, we assume that one is a HDMI cable and other one is to power the device. However, overall device has a minimal design and doesn’t bother you much if its placed below the TV.
Coming to the remote of new Google TV Streamer, it looks similar to Chromecast but longer. At top there is D-Pad for scroller, under that there is back and home button. Then there is a voice input button and the volume rocker has been moved from side to the front side. That’s the main reason the remote looks longer in size. Next one is mute button, under that there are shortcuts for Netflix and YouTube. At last at the bottom there is a power button and magic star shortcut button
