Warner Bros. Discovery Launches Max streaming service in the US

Warner Bros. Discovery launches its new streaming service i.e. Max. The company has made many improvements to the streaming platform as compared to HBO Max. The whole content that is available on HBO Max is available on the new Max streaming service. The service also has a dedicated homepage experience for HBO Max content along with Max Originals and other content.

The Max streaming service has 35K hours of content i.e. more than HBO Max. However, the pricing of the plans is the same as the HBO Max. We have listed all three plans of the Max streaming service below.

  • Max Ultimate Ad-free: It is priced at $19.99/month and $199.99/year. You can stream the content on 4 screens in 4K UHD resolution with Dolby Atmos sound quality, and 100 offline downloads.
  • Max Ad-free: It is priced at $15.99/month and $149.99/year. You can stream the content on 2 screens in 1080p resolutions with 5.1 surround sound quality, and 30 offline downloads.
  • Max with Ads: It is priced at $9.99/month and $99.99/year. You can stream the content on 2 screens in 1080p resolutions with 5.1 surround sound quality.

HBO Max users will also have the same watch history, continue watching list, and my list titles in the new Max app.

The Max streaming service is available on all the platforms where HBO Max is working. Which includes Google Chromecast, Android, iOS, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Android TV, Apple TV, LG Smart TV, Roku, Samsung TV, Vizio SmartCast TV, PS4, and PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, and web browsers (including Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge for Windows and Apple Safari).

According to the press release, A large number of users of HBO Max will get their apps automatically update to the new one. On the other hand, the remaining users will also get a  promoted message to download the updated Max app.
