Xiaomi Mi TV Stick with Android TV and Chromecast Support Launched in India for ₹2,799 (~$37)

Xiaomi launched its Mi TV Stick in India for ₹2,799(~$37). Earlier on 16th July 2020, the Mi TV Stick was launched in Europe. Mi TV Stick runs on the Android TV operating system without any MI user-interface. It has the functionality of to stream content from Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix, and others directly to your TV. The first sale of Mi TV Stick will start from 7th August 2020 at 12 Noon and it will be available to buy from Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi home stores.

Xiaomi Mi Stick supports a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution at 60fps and video decoding for VP9-10, H.265, H.264, VC-1, MPEG1/2/4. It is powered by a Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor and ARM Mali-450 GPU. Mi TV Stick pairs Full HD variant pairs 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. All these specs are already leaked on various certification websites, you can see our coverage on it.

Moreover, Xiaomi Mi TV Stick has built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast that are very useful features. You can give the voice command to Google Assistant via remote control and with the help of Chromecast, the users can cast any content from their devices. The new MI TV Stick is also packed with Dolby and DTS audio compression technologies, which gives the premium audio quality and surround sound.

Moreover, Mi TV Stick is also packed with Google Data Saver that will track your data usage. If you have a cap on your broadband plan, then it is very useful because it saves data and allows users to stream more contents. Xiaomi Mi TV Stick measures 92.4×30.2×15.2mm and weighs 28.5 g.

However, the main competitor of Mi TV stick is Amazon Fire TV Stick i.e. priced at ₹3,999(~$53)  and upcoming new Chromecast(Sabrina) with remote.
