The recently unveiled Asus ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus proves that Chromebooks are attaining new heights in terms of hardware prowess. The newly launched Chromebook features powerful Intel Core Ultra 5 125U, Core Ultra 5 135U, Core Ultra 7 155U, and Core Ultra 7 165U processors. It is further incorporated with a high-end 4K display with 500 nits of brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color space.

Measuring 313.7 x 222.8 x 16.7 mm in size and weighing over 1.3 kg, it bundles up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 M.2 storage. The chassis incorporates a 1x 3.5mm jack, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x MicroSD Card reader, 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports, and 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports.

It comes with a 14-inch WQXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. The display offers 500-nit brightness, and the matte finish over-the-top combats glare and fingerprints.

Apart from the enhanced hardware, the build quality has progressed over time. The Asus ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus offers a MIL-STD 810H-approved, sturdy build.
