Google announced I/O 2024, to be held on 14 May

Google has announced the I/O 2024 developer conference will be held on 14th May.  Google I/O 2024 will be live streamed on all of Google’s official channels at 10 a.m. PT on 14th May. According to the reports, there will be a second day for live programming for in person attendees. In the past two years Google I/O is a day-long event, although earlier it spanned for three days.

As usual, Google I/O 2024 will be started by Google’s CEO Sunder Pichai. The Google is expected to announce the new feature set to arrive in the all new Android 15.  We might see the new features for some of its other services, like Gmail, Google Photos, G Suite, and more. Google will also announce the new features in AI (Artificial intelligence) which include Android XR and Gemini.

Talking about the expected hardware launches in Google I/O 2024. According to the previous I/O in which Pixel 7a was announced, so here in Google I/O 2024 Pixel 8a might be launched. There are some leaks related to Pixel 8a features and specs. According to leaks Pixel 8a is packed with a 6.1 inch display with 90Hz of refresh rate, It is powered by Google’s Tensor G3 SoC. It may come with a huge battery i.e. around 5000 mAh, and support 27W fast charging.

There are rumors about a new Chromecast also for some time now. A new Chromecast device with the name “YTD” seems to have appeared in the Google Home app code. Moreover, recently a new remote that resembles to the present Chromecast with Google TV remote Video was found in Android 14 Beta.
