Nokia Media Streamer with Dedicated Remote Launched in India, Priced at ₹3499(~$46)

Nokia Media Steamer – an Android-based streaming stick launched in India. The main highlight of the Nokia Media Streamer is the built-in Google Chromecast support and it comes with a dedicated remote. The Nokia Media Streamer will be available to purchase from August 28th on Flipkart. However, Xiaomi has also launched its Android TV based Mi TV Stick in July 2020.

The new media streamer from Nokia supports FHD(1920 x 1080 pixels) playback at 60 fps with HDR support. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage along with Mali 450 GPU and Quad-core processor. The New streaming device runs on Android 9 Pie and it also has the Play Store support through you can install various apps. Although you will get the Netflix, Zee5, Youtube, Google Music, Google Play Store, Google Play movies apps pre-loaded on the device.

Nokia Media Streamer has a square design with Nokia branding at the center. It will connect with TV using HDMI cable. It also comes with a remote on which you can see the Netflix and ZEE5 dedicated buttons for the content. There is a Google Assistant button also on the remote, through which you can play with voice commands.

The New Nokia Media Streamer is priced at ₹3499($46) and its main competitors in the market are Xiaomi Mi TV Stick, Amazon Fire TV Stick, and Chromecast with remote(Sabrina) which yet to be launched.
