Xiaomi TV Stick 4K launched in India with ARM Cortex-A35 processor and 2GB RAM

Following the reports from the previous few days, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K is finally here in India officially with support for streaming in QHD resolution. Actually launched in December 2021, finally paving to the Indian markets with a delay of a year. The new streaming stick will act as a successor to the Xiaomi TV Stick which is currently available via Flipkart and Mi.com.

Xiaomi TV Stick 4K supports Dolby Vision, DTS HD, Dolby Atmos, and a built-in Chromecast. In terms of software, the stick offers PatchWall over Android 11. Further, the remote has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotsar, and Assitant.

The stick comes with AmLogic S905Y4 SoC which bundles Quad-core Cortex A35 processor and ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. It houses 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage options. In connectivity, there’s a dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB, and HDMI port.

As we expand our portfolio, we aim to bring 4K entertainment closer to consumers with the launch of the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. Entering our sixth year, we will continue to push our limits of innovations and offer consumers a range of products that bring a cinematic experience at home.

Furthermore, it offers video decoding capabilities for AV1, VP9, H.265, H.264, MPEG-2, and MPEG-1 formats. There will be a USB Cable, Power Adapter, Xiaomi TV Stick 4K and Remote Control in the box.

Xiaomi TV Stick 4K will start retailing for Rs 4,999 (~$60) via mi.com from February 20th at 12 noon.
