In September, the search giant unveiled the new Chromecast with a remote named Chromecast with Google TV. The streaming device also went up for pre-orders in Japan recently. Now, Google has started pushing a new incremental update for Chromecast with Google TV. The new update comes as build 200918.015 and weighs 86.48MB in size.
While no changelog is available for this update, we expect it to be an incremental update considering it weighs less than 100MBs in size. It is noteworthy that as this is an incremental update it might come with few bug fixes and various under the hood changes. You can check for the update by going to Settings > System > About > System Updates.
Along with the streaming device, the Chromecast with Google TV remote is also receiving an incremental update. Just like the streaming device, the update for remote is also incremental. Recently, some users are having freezing and hanging issues with Chromecast Remote. We hope these issues are fixed in this update You can install this update by heading to Settings > System > Remotes & Accessories > Chromecast Remote.
